MONIA MONTALI
Monia est chorégraphe et danseuse italienne, installée à Bruxelles. Après une période d’études à l’université de Bologne (DAMS-disciplines arts musique spectacle), elle se forme en danse contemporaine à travers l'europe puis en photographie à Bruxelles. Entre 2018 et 2025 elle suit l'Ecole Cònia à Cesena dirigée par Claudia Castellucci.

Comme danseuse, elle a travaillé avec artistes tels Ted Stoffer, Kendell Geers, Georgio Khumalo ou Romeo Castellucci. Elle a également travaillé comme chorégraphe avec Wooshing Machine sur des projets impliquant des citoyens. Comme photographe elle a fait partie, entre 2007 et 2012, du collectif international SMOKE. Son travail a été publié et exposé à travers l’Europe (e.a. Biennale de Liège, Rencontres d’Arles, Centre Wallonie-Bruxelles à Paris, Festival de Séville, Marseille 2013…).
En 2024, elle a pris part au projet de recherche ‘La Visita’, dirigé par Romeo Castellucci et Silvia Rampelli à la Triennale di Milano.
Monia is an Italian dancer and choreographer based in Brussels. She studied Performing Arts at the University of Bologna (DAMS), contemporary dance across Europe, and photography in Brussels. From 2018 to 2025, she attended the Scuola Cònia in Cesena, directed by Claudia Castellucci.

FRANÇOIS BODEUX
François est belge, scénographe, éclairagiste et créateur d'oeuvres scéniques. Il vit entre Liège et Bruxelles. Il a travaillé plusieurs années comme doctorant en sociologie (UCL) avant d’étudier la photographie (Saint-Luc - Liège) et la régie de spectacle (Infac - Bruxelles).

De 2007 à 2012, il fait partie de SMOKE, un collectif européen de photographes défendant une vision incisive du documentaire d’auteur. Sa rencontre avec Monia le pousse à s’intéresser de plus en plus à la danse contemporaine et au théâtre, tant du point de vue de la création que de la régie technique.
Depuis 2010, il mène en parallèle un travail d’auteur avec Monia et un travail de créateur lumière, scénographe ou régisseur pour différents lieux et compagnies.
Comme photographe, Il a exposé ses travaux – le plus souvent sous forme d’installations – dans de nombreux festivals et galeries (Rencontres d’Arles, Biennale de Liège, Festival de Séville, Biennale balte de l’art contemporain, CWB Paris etc …).
Pour la scène, il a collaboré entre autres avec Charleroi-Danse (technicien permanent), Thierry De Mey, Lefeuvre & Demestri, Meytal Blanaru, Léa Drouet, Justine Bougerol etc …
Aujourd’hui son travail de création lumières et scénographique reste largement influencé par son parcours dans les arts visuels. Il repose sur une logique de développement expérimental, mêlant artisanat et recours aux technologies les plus pointues.
Francois is Belgian, scenographer, lighting designer and maker of scenic works. He lives between Liège and Brussels. He worked several years as a PhD in sociology before to study photography (Saint-Luc – Liège) and stage management (Infac – Brussels).

From 2007 to 2012, he was part of SMOKE, a European collective of photographers committed to author’s documentary. His meeting with Monia led him to take an increasing interest in contemporary dance and theatre, both from the point of view of creation and technical management. Since 2010, he has been working as an author with Monia Montali and as a stage manager, lighting designer or set designer for several venues and companies.
As photographer, he has exhibited his work – most often in the form of installations – in many festivals and galleries (R.I.P. Arles, Biennale de Liège, Festival Séville, Biennale Balte de l’art contemporain, CWB Paris, Neunplus Berlin etc…). For the stage, he has collaborated, among others, with Charleroi Danse (permanent technician), Thierry De Mey, Lefeuvre & Demestri, Meytal Blanaru, Léa Drouet, Justine Bougerol etc …
Today his work with lighting and scenography remains largely influenced by his experience with visual arts. It is based on a logic of research, craftsmanship and openness to the most advanced technologies, which most often leads him to create its own «technological crafts».

Antia est chorégraphe, danseuse et chercheuse. Elle est diplômée en histoire de l'art et titulaire d'un doctorat sur le processus créatif en danse contemporaine de l'ULB. Elle enseigne à Bruxelles dans le master "Danse et pratiques chorégraphiques" (Charleroi Danse, La Cambre et L'Insas), et dans le master "Art du spectacle vivant" (ULB). Depuis 2017, elle enseigne avec Germán Jauregui l'atelier "Approche d'un processus de création" dans différents centres, festivals et universités. Parallèlement, elle suit le travail d'autres artistes en tant que collaboratrice artistique et dramaturge. Antía is a choreographer, dancer and researcher. She holds a PhD on the creative process in contemporary dance from the ULB. She is currently teaching in Brussels in the master “Danse et pratiques chorégraphiques” (Charleroi Danse, La Cambre and L’Insas), and in the master “Art du spectacle vivant” (ULB). Since 2017, together with Germán Jauregui, she teaches the workshop “An approach to a creation process”, which is held in different centres, festivals and universities. In parallel, she also follows the work of other artists as an artistic collaborator and dramaturge. MIQUEL CASAPONSA
musician and sound composer
Miquel vit à Barcelone. Il a étudié la musique, l'architecture intérieure et les interventions urbaines à Barcelone, Helsinki et Bruxelles.
Comme créateur sonore, il développe son travail principalement avec la guitare électrique, des field recordings et l'électronique comme sources de composition et d'expérimentation. Il a collaboré sur des installations et performances avec et pour Brendan Dougherty, Ana Konjetsky, Joao Lima, Monia Montali & François Bodeux, Giovanni Di Domenico, Charo Calvo et Abraham Hurtado entre autres.
En 2017, avec Kotomi Nishiwaki, ils forment l'association Park Keito où leurs recherches se rejoignent dans différentes disciplines telles que le mouvement, les arts sonores et visuels. Ensemble ils créent une série de pièces scéniques et installation, en collaborant avec d'autres artistes tels que Kahori Furukawa, Jorge Dutor, Iván Cascón et Shannon Cooney.
Miquel lives in Barcelona. He studied urban interventions, interior architecture and music in Barcelona, Helsinki and Brussels.
As sound designer he develops his work mainly with electric guitar, field recordings and electronics as sources for composition and experimentation. He has collaborated on installations/performances with and for Brendan Dougherty, Ana Konjetsky, Joao Lima, Monia Montali & François Bodeux, Giovanni Di Domenico, Charo Calvo and Abraham Hurtado among others.
In 2017, with Kotomi Nishiwaki, they formed the Park Keito association where their research come together in different disciplines; movement, sound and visual art in collaboration with other artists such as Kahori Furukawa, Jorge Dutor, Iván Cascón and Shannon Cooney, for the creation of stage performances and installations.
JEF STEVENS

Jef Stevens (Beerse, 1947) a étudié la philosophie, le droit et la théologie. Il a travaillé pendant plus de 20 ans comme greffier (1971-1993) avant de devenir diacre pour l'église d'Anvers (1993-2001). Il a ensuite travaillé pour aider les sans-abri jusqu'à sa retraite en 2008. Ce n'est qu'après sa retraite, à l'âge de 60 ans, que Jef Stevens a commencé à s'intéresser à la danse et au théâtre en collaborant au projet de Nada Gambier Il était une fois à Petaouchnok. Depuis, il a travaillé avec de nombreuses compagnies, dont Peeping Tom, Ultimavez, Petri Dish, Monia Montali & François Bodeux, Thomas Ryckewaert, United-C, Nederlands Dans Theater ...
Jef Stevens (Beerse, 1947) studied philosophy, law and theology. He worked for more than 20 years as a court clerk (1971-1993) before becoming a deacon for the church in Antwerp (1993-2001). He then worked to help the homeless until his retirement in 2008. It was only after his retirement, at the age of 60, that Jef Stevens began to take an interest in dance and theatre by collaborating on Nada Gambier’s project Once upon a time in Petaouchnok. Since then, he has worked with many companies, including Peeping Tom, Ultimavez, Petri Dish, Monia Montali & François Bodeux, Thomas Ryckewaert, United-C, Nederlands Dans Theater ...

Aliénor est diplômée de l’ESACT de Liège et se forme en continu dans diverses pratiques physiques, notamment la danse, le chant, ou le Xinyi Bagua Zhang.
Elle cultive les expériences artistiques diverses en Belgique et ailleurs, entre théâtre expérimental, cirque, danse ou performance. Elle a collaboré entre autres avec la Clinic Orgasm Society, Anne Thuot, Renelde Pierlot, Petri Dish, le Corridor, Liesbet Hermans, Studio d'Action Théâtrale, Monia Montali & François Bodeux, ou David Zambrano.
Elle développe en ce moment un premier solo (Rouge) pour lequel elle a obtenu divers soutiens (FWB, Factory, …). En parallèle, elle s’adonne aussi à l’écriture (de manière protéiforme) et à l’improvisation.

Over the years, she has collaborated with artists and companies such as Clinic Orgasm Society, Anne Thuot, Renelde Pierlot, Petri Dish, Le Corridor, Liesbet Hermans, Studio d'Action Théâtrale, Monia Montali & François Bodeux, and David Zambrano.
She is currently working on her first solo creation, Rouge, which has received support from various institutions (FWB, Factory ...). Alongside her performance work, she also explores writing in its many forms and improvisation.
ANNE-CATHERINE KUNZ
costume designer
Après une formation en Lettres à l’Université de Genève et des études de cinéma à l’Ecole des Beaux Arts de Zürich, Anne-Catherine Kunz entame une carrière de costumière auprès de la compagnie de danse Rosas à Bruxelles. Elle y occupe la fonction de chef du département costumes de 2001 à 2013. A partir de 2007, elle sera aussi la créatrice des costumes de nombreux spectacles de Anne Teresa De Keersmaeker.
A partir de 2014 elle devient costumière free-lance et travaille pour la danse, le cinéma et le théâtre. Parmi ses collaborations on trouve des productions de Josse De Pauw, Alain Plattel, Joachim Lafosse, Joachim Koester, ECCE, Manu Riche, Esther Salamon, Ahilan Ratnamohan, k.a.k, Maxime Kurvers, Dries Gijsels, Ictus, Mette Edwardsen, Julian Hetzel, Alexander Van Turnhout, Peeping Tom, Joris Lacoste et Fabrice Gorgerat.

After studying Literature at the University of Geneva and Film at the Zurich University of the Arts, Anne-Catherine Kunz began her career as a costume designer with the Rosas dance company in Brussels. She was the head of the costume department from 2001 to 2013. Starting in 2007, she also designed costumes for numerous productions by Anne Teresa De Keersmaeker.
From 2014 onwards, she became a freelance costume designer, working across dance, film, and theater. Her collaborations include productions by Josse De Pauw, Alain Platel, Joachim Lafosse, Joachim Koester, ECCE, Manu Riche, Esther Salamon, Ahilan Ratnamohan, k.a.k, Maxime Kurvers, Dries Gijsels, Ictus, Mette Edvardsen, Julian Hetzel, Alexander Van Turnhout, Peeping Tom, Joris Lacoste, and Fabrice Gorgerat.
